To All the Mamas

Hello!

This post is to all the mamas out there who work tirelessly to take care of their little ones. You know who you are, and I know how you do this mommy job to the best of your ability. I know everything you do and know you feel like sometimes you still just aren’t doing enough. You are NOT alone. All us mommies are walking a similar path. So this post is to you.

All the stay-at-home mommies, don’t ever let someone make you feel like your job is easy. Don’t ever let anyone make you feel belittled because you are “only” a stay-at-home mom. You are raising little humans 24/7 and that is a job in itself!

All the working mommies, don’t ever let someone make you feel like you aren’t doing enough for your babies. You are sacrificing the time you could have with them to provide for your family. Your babies will greatly appreciate everything you are doing for them one day!

Whether you are a stay-at-home or working mommy, we all know that is not your only title. You are the chef, maid, tutor, and boo-boo kisser as well. There are always dishes to be done. There is laundry to be washed. Cleaning needs to be done. So what if none of it gets done right away?

The dishes are going to pile up in the sink.

You will end up with overflowing laundry baskets.

The house may not be spotless.

Who cares?! What is important? Your babies! Let the dishes pile up. Let the laundry overflow. Let the house gain a little dust. Time is going to fly by. Playing with your babies, helping kids with homework, going to athletic games and recitals, kissing boo-boos, and just overall enjoying your kids is what is important.

Don’t let the other titles of being a mommy overly stress you. You are doing everything you can to raise little humans and that is what is important. I applaud you and all your efforts. They have NOT gone unnoticed. You. Are. Amazing. Go out and continue doing what you do best… being a mommy!

So until next time,

Okie Mom
