School has started, the Oklahoma heat has decided to simmer down (for now at least), and I am ready for fall! On one of my previous posts, Our Toddler Summertime Bucket-List, I gave a list of great activities to do with your toddler. Now, I know it is titled a “summer bucket-list”, but really, most of these can be done throughout the year!
My little family has gotten to visit Mustang, Oklahoma’s, Playbox Indoor Playland two separate times now. To say we love it is an understatement! It is truly a great place to take your kiddos. Not only will your toddler enjoy it, but kids up to age 12 are allowed in the Playbox!
The Playbox was opened to give families a safe, fun place to let their kids (and parents ;)), a place to play, get active, and enjoy time with one another. The Playbox is geared towards children aged 9 months to 12 years. Within the center is a massive playset that even adults are allowed to get on. When you have an adventurous toddler, this means you are more than welcome to help them through the playset! (Major bonus in this mama’s book!) They also have a gravel digging room, baby area, table for kids to color, gymnastics mats, and an imaginary play area that looks like a school, supermarket, and fire station. There is an eating area with tables and chairs. They have coffee for the parents and a room for nursing mamas. I really feel like they have thought of everything!
The entrance fee is completely affordable. Each child from 9 months to 12 years is $10.99. This also covers two adults to go in with the child.
Though they are completely affordable, another awesome perk to the Playbox is their great discounts!
- Military Monday– 20% off General Admission with military ID
- Infant Tuesday– 1 and under free entry
**This includes 1 year olds until the day they turn 2!
- Wacky Wednesday– 2 for price of 1
**With some exclusions
- Thirsty Thursday– free bottle of water with each child admission
Honestly, in my humble opinion, this is a place you should definitely take your child to visit! To check their hours, or any other further information, go to their website by clicking here. I have no doubt your kiddos will leave exhausted and be ready for either a nap, or to sleep soundly that night. 😉
So until next time,
